Stanislav Stepchuk, who was headbutted by John Fury on Monday, has claimed he didn’t fight back due to their age difference – while also saying the 59-year-old was risking a heart attack by getting all worked up.
All eyes are currently on the Fury family, with Tyson Fury preparing to face Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday night.
There were awful scenes on Monday, however, with tempers boiling over out in Saudi Arabia.

John headbutted Stepchuk, a member of Usyk’s team, with the 59-year-old left covered in blood in the aftermath.
John has since apologised for his actions, while also saying that Stepchuk was a ‘disrespectful fella’.
“Sincere apologies to everybody involved. It’s just the way we are. Emotions and tensions are running high. He was a very disrespectful fella,” he said.
“If you come close in a fighting man’s space, you’re gonna cop for something.
“What matters to me is respect for my son and he wasn’t showing any of it.
“He mentioned my son and that was it, so he had to have it.
“It doesn’t bother me [bleeding], it’s what we live for, we’re fighting people. That’s a regular occurrence to me.”
John has also previously apologised for getting worked up prior to Tommy Fury’s fight with KSI last year.
The head of the Fury family flipped tables and engaged in a brawl prior to that clash.
He also punched a glass panel and threw another headbutt as tempers boiled over, too.
But Saudi Arabian authorities are unlikely to take any action against the Briton, despite his antics out in the Middle East.
